Way More Than One Year This Time!

Hello!  I am eversograteful this blog is still here.  I may have to learn how to use it all over again, but I'll work on it.  So much has changed since I last posted in 2014 and yet so much has stayed the same.  I think that might be a sign of being at least middle age.  I will update things as I learn to use the features that have changed.  For now, due to time constraints I'll just say I am eversograteful for my Jason, he is my best friend and I love him more now than ever and am eversograteful he loves me back!  We were lucky enough to go to Kauai, Hawaii a week ago to participate in my brother Shawn's wedding, it was an experience I will blog more about--epic, gorgeous, fun, relaxing, wonderful in every way.  I went skydiving and there will be a post just about that, in fact I got on hoping I could post my video in an easy way, but I can't figure it out right this minute, stay tuned, you're going to want to see that!  We still have a zoo, but some of the faces have changed, again. I'm eversograteful for our animal family members, and I wish they stayed longer...(note: I recently learned  ...  has changed meanings, I use it a lot, and I believe I use it appropriately most of the time in the old fashioned way. Meaning "there is so much more I could say about this, usually in a good way, but I won't go into it now",  I don't mean it sarcastically or aggressively--EVER!)
I'm eversograteful that I got to attend our nephew Tyson's graduation in May '19 and I get to attend our nephew Kaden's wedding reception on Thursday, 8-1-19.   Our family continues to grow and change and I am still eversograteful for them one and all!

hello again

Wow, once again it has been more than a year...today I'm eversograteful that this blog is still here, I keep wondering if they'll delete when I don't post for so long...I'm grateful that doesn't happen...
I'm grateful for Jason, the love of my life who makes me laugh & cooks for me & is monster hot & works hard & loves his friends & family & likes to play & is Dr. Doolittle & can fix just about anything...
I'm grateful for Wallaby, Maisy, Zeus, Birdie & Turt who make our house interesting & oh how wonderful it is to come home to three beautiful dogs so excited to see their mother!
I'm eversograteful for lifelong friends who mean the world to us...and crazy enough we just keep adding to the list...good friends are hard to find but when you have awesome friends who introduce you to their awesome friends more is inevitable! The saying "Make new friends but keep the old, one is silver & the other gold." Is true.
I'm eversograteful for my cherished family! Got to have lunch with my dad on Tues. & then went to Wizard of Oz at Tuacahn with my mom & bfff Kimmie that night. Had a great time shopping with my mom too. This summer we got to go to our nephew Kaden's graduation & then I got to go to Tx for our niece Kailee's graduation too. We have such talented, smart, funny, kind, loving nieces & nephews, & now even great nephews & nieces! We are so blessed! (We are about to have another great nephew, Henry, to join Fynlee & Ryker.)
I'm eversograteful for my jobs which bring me great satisfaction & enable us to do what we love when were not at work!
I'm eversograteful for orange things, I simply love all things orange. I also love those silly quizzes on facebook, they make me smile...today I learned that the quote that fits my life is "Be the rainbow in someones cloud." By Maya Angelou....love that!  I love to laugh, I love flavored vodka, I love my bikes, I love my life!

Weekends

So what I am eversograteful for today is weekends! I didnt struggle to feel grateful & positive this weekend....funny how that works...I got to be the driver for Jason & our friends Cindy & Dennis & friends while they rode their bikes to Mesquite...Cindy wanted that trip for her birthday celebration : ) I was not in shape to ride it, but Jas had a good ride.  Then we went on a mountain bike ride on Sunday & our poor friend Kara crashed & broke her shoulder...she has to have surgery tomorrow : (  It was a great ride up to that & as selfish as it is I'm eversograteful it wasnt me or Jas...sometimes being a chicken pays off.  I'm also grateful for my job where I feel like I make a difference in the lives of youth, hard as it is at times, I know at the end of the day we help keep young people & their parents thrive despite some incredible struggles!

I love to Ride My Bicycle

I love riding my bike & sometimes it is hard, yet still I love it.  Life is like that, hard at times and yet ya still gotta love it! Today I'm grateful that Jas was willing to take the dogs for their morning walk so I didn't have to get up at 5:30....& I'm grateful to live in a beautiful place where we can enjoy the outdoors almost everyday of the year & I'm grateful for my cute little yellow convertible that is fun to drive, quick & gets good gas mileage!

gratitude needed

I think we all know in this enlightened age of 24/7 Oprah on OWN that gratitude is a good idea...however we also know that 6 servings of fruits & veggies is a good idea & so simple...yet so HARD to practice consistently!  So right now I am just eversograteful for my Jas, and our home- cluttered & dog fur coated as it is- (see how quick I am to forget to be positive?)...I'm grateful for my nook hd+ that has allowed me to blog again, though I don't have a clue how to do pics from here (see how complaining & negativity is invading my gratitude-man I've got some work to do).  I'm eversograteful for my fabulous orange bling purse & bright yellow convertible, that make me smile every time I look at them & every time someone makes a comment....l'm eversograteful for my mom who took me to Shrek the musical at the Smith Center & for my mom & friends Kim & Cindy who supported my bowling team & everyone else who helped our Southern Utah Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl For Kids Sake event exceed our goal this year! I'm eversograteful for my health & ability to jog my dogs everyday. Eversograteful for our ever increasing # of neices & nephews who we adore! Eversograteful for lifelong friends who we love & who love us back! & on & on & on....
