Herc, mom and The Oasis Spa get away

Today I appreciate Hercules and the joy he brings to my heart. We went for a walk this morning and he was so excited. At one point he was a bit in front of me and stopped, looked back and had a huge grin on his goofy face! It is so wonderful to have such a cute bundle of joy exude love and excitement with every snort, wag, and sneeze. Plus Hercules is super smart- he can sit, shake with both hands, lay down, roll over (both ways), sneeze, give 5, give high 5, argue, and say I Love You (in Scooby language). Whoever said Pit Bulls are not smart never met Herc. Of course he is pretty "bull headed" too and won't necessarily come when you say that command...One of my favorite things he has been called is Ferdinand the Bull who loves roses- our next door neighbor George called him that because Herc loves to smell flowers! (and he can't always seem to sniff out other critters and stuff but he can smell a ball at 500 yards!)

I am also happy to report that I am off of work for the week and in a few minutes will be heading to the Spa at The Oasis in Mesquite for a 2 night spa get away with my mom! I can not wait. This has been a yearly thing for us for the last 3 years. My mom treated me to it right after I finished radiation 3 years ago and I took her for Mother's Day last year and again it is for Mother's Day this year. We have such a terrific time together and you can't beat the mineral pool and massage. I am ready for a couple of days of serious RNR (for those of you involved in the Juvenile Justice System I don't mean Risk Need Responsivity...). My mom and I will be talking, laughing, meditating, giving each other inspirational readings, swimming, lounging, and maybe a little shopping. On that note, I've got nothing else to say, gotta go!
