Merry, Merry Christmas, doggie style...

Would you believe that hand belongs to a Great Aunt? Like almost a Grandmother...but purple wristband and orange watchband makes it hip and young and cool, right? No, then ignore the hand in the corner, pretend it is behind a curtain...only look at Herc wrapped up in a
Christmas bow!
Meet Blade...she is cousin Adam's Christmas present! She is super soft, and about the most adorable little Rottweiler Puppy (7 weeks old, stopped by on the drive from Hooper to Las Vegas--Thanks Cousins!) we have ever met!
I had to add another Christmas post because it wouldn't let me save all the pics I wanted on the first one... LOVE YOU ALL!

Merry Christmas Every One!!

So the girls and Tam got pretty nails for Christmas...maybe next time I will take out the separators before the pic? (as a side note, this is the first time I've ever had nail art and diamonds on my nails...Go Team Angels!)
We did Christmas at home on Thursday 12/18 or something like that...cuz the girls were done with school the next day and going home for Christmas...IT WAS AWESOME!! Love you girls, perfect gifts!
So also along with Christmas is Kimmie's birthday...this cake spoke to us at Costco, it was the perfect cake and just enough room for those candles...we LOVE Kim!
Mega Pro Christmas party 2009 took place at the Smith's home. Jas couldn't help but lay one on his BFF Sandra Kay~
This is Kim, at the Mega Pro party showing how "Shark Jas" has been running around the shop for the last few weeks, broken hand--raise it and it won't run into anything or anyone!

Jas also loves the "Boss Man", Mr. Smith, equal opportunity lovin' around here man!
Check out those cupcakes! They were phenomenal! The other "Mrs. Smith", Heidi couldn't make it to the party but her cupcakes were a big HIT!
WE LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Smiley Kyley! You rock Smiley! Merry Christmas!Best Christmas present ever, Jaxton Jason is our newest nephew. Super cute, we adore him! (and absolutely LOVE and ADORE all 16 of our nieces and nephews, hope you know it this Christmas kids!)
Last but not least...Hercules wishes everyone a ME LE KALIKIMAKA & HAOULE MA KI HI KI HOWE (don't really know how to spell it, but it is Hawaiian for Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!)

Jeep Does Dumont!

We got to go out to Dumont again over the weekend of 12/19. We camped out there with Cousins Adam & Heidi, Jeremy & JD, and Brian and Rachel. It was a riot, as always.
Jas got new paddles so now there are 4 paddles! He also has the fuel injection almost figured out too, so the Jeep was ROCKIN!
Doesn't it look like those "Stompers" from the early 80's?

Kels and Kayla stayed down for 1 more weekend after finals to come with us to Dumont! I hope it was worth it for them, I suspect it was!
We got to ride Brian's Banshee and I suspect that the next time we go out there may be a couple of Banshees instead of the Jeep! It is such a RIOT! (Freakin' Brian)
Guess it's like riding a bike, I think I picked it right back up--Banshees FLY!

Next time you see Cousin Jeremy (or anyone else involved in the weekend) you have to ask him about the "Guy running through the desert with a baby!" The story is hilarious, even after it has been told 55 times around the camp fire!

Herc's Tricks

If you know me at all, or even if you've only met me through this blog then you probably have guessed that Herc is more than a dog to me--he is my baby. We videoed him doing some of his tricks, this is the first rough draft of a video we will be perfecting over the next year or so...He is so smart and such a good boy! Watch this and I know you'll agree!

So I read about how people who blow their noses a lot don't get as many colds, since they blow out the bugs before they get a chance to multiply...same with gargling. Gargling helps kick the bugs out of that orifice before they can multiply. I bought it. I hadn't been sick in a very long time. Then I said it out loud. OOPS. Now I have the mother of all colds (and poor Jas got it too). I know it isn't flu because I don't have a temperature, in fact I am lucky to hit 98.6, I am typically more like 96.2. I do however have a sore nose, and that is even with the Kleenex with lotion! On the bright side I am going to have abs of steel by the time I kick this, my stomach muscles are killing me from coughing so much. Getting sick so makes me appreciate my general state of wellness! I love to be healthy, I love to feel good, I am feeling better all ready. My body is a health producing organism...

Fullerton's do Dumont

It just wouldn't be us if the paddles didn't wind up in the kitchen on the way to the dunes...

Isn't this the picture of FUN?

Look who's driving!

Our 1 and Only Cruise!!!

Cute, super cute towel monkey, right?
Even cuter, much cuter, towel plus boot Elephant!

OK, Eskimo, ok, I can see what it is, talented origami with the towels. Got it.

WTH? What is this? I guessed Aardvark. Others said Ant Eater. I finally asked our guy, he said Dinosaur. Jas and I got the Dinosaur and the Eskimo. Everyone else got monkeys, manta rays, bunnies, elephants, love swans, etc... super cute towel creatures. Our room must have been the one that was miserable to make up, so we were punished with weird towel creations, but how fun to have towel creations in our rooms each night!
To preface the rest of the post....Jas has always had sea sickness. Lake Powell=sick. Lake Mead=sick. Sand Hallow on a boat=sick. Jet skis are OK, they don't sit and float up and down, they just race around and return to shore! Everyone says "You can't even feel a cruise boat moving, they are so big", "Get the patch, he will be fine", "Try it, you'll like it"...So Darb asked us to go on a 3 day cruise. Jas said OK in a moment of weakness and I booked it before he could change his mind...so on 11/13 (Friday the 13th, good luck in my book, right?) We went on a 3 day cruise from San Diego to Ensenada....
There were 10 0f us, it was a great group, we love those cruise buddies!

Elation was the Carnival ship we were on, it was a great ship!

They had an "elegant" night...Doesn't Jas look super hot?!
and the girls were NOT TO BE MISSED~~

'Wit Woo'
(I made them do this--but isn't it great?!)
Picture of a cruise...look at that food, and yet, don't I look slim?
That is Chocolate Sushi in my hand, weird and tasted weird--skip it!
So end of the story. Tami had a riot, every minute (except the few moments of sea sickness the first night, and I have never been sea sick a day in my life!!!) and would love to do it again. Except for the part where Jason was sea sick, despite the behind the ear patch and meclyzine (or something like that, motion sickness pills) the WHOLE TIME!!! He could be upright for maybe an hour at a time and then had to go lay down. The only time he didn't feel like he was going to puke was when he was laying down (that is why I think our cabin was hardest to clean up, cuz Jas never left for very long, thus the ugly towel creatures). He was a great sport, and tried to enjoy himself, but he was pretty miserable and couldn't eat as much as he thought he should to even make it worth it....pretty tough to take. So I won't ever make him do it again. But it was quite an experience!
Love you Cruise Buddies! What happens on the boat stays on the boat : )
another small note: Our old Bishop's son, plus our friend, Matt was on the boat, he lives across the street from us and helps Jas work on the bus and borrows our cherry picker all the time...but still, same boat, same weekend? odd.

Jeep meets Comp at Dumont

So, I have determined that I sound like a hillbilly when I am afraid and then I sound more normal when I know everything is going to be OK.

I was afraid of Jas taking the jeep up comp this weekend at Dumont Sand Dunes. Everything was O.K. and listen to that JEEP!

More to follow.

Beauty day, followed by more beauty tomorrow! I have a tan! Ever hear of it? I do not tan, however due to the magic of airbrushing I am tan. I am so excited about going on our cruise on Friday! Yee Haw!
Have I ever mentioned how much I love Mega Pro? I got to swing by for a visit 2 times today, it is a huge ego boost, they love me there. Plus I love them too!
Also I went on a bike ride this morning, 17 or so miles at a 16 mile per hour speed....I LOVE TO RIDE MY BICYCLE! Life is good!

At Least My Hand Isn't Broken

So this morning Jason's hand got caught between him and the 305 lb guy...apparently there is a type of break where the ligament that holds the small bones in your hands together actually stretches to the point where it pulls a piece of the bone off...so that small bone is broken! Thankfully, Jas can still probably load and pull T shirts.

How Do I Love Thee?

How do I love these shoes? Let me count the ways....

Does it get any better than that?

741 Days, but Who's Counting?

So I am 100 % brace free! As of yesterday morning at 10:15...I am back to being a grown up, rather than a teenager! I've gotta tell you that I really like my straight teeth, they are quite nice. Now for the bleaching kit to see if they can all be the same color too--I'm not planning on white, but maybe "Mother of Pearl"!

Trick or Treat? Circa 1984

Beauty doesn't come easy...

How did I ever do this to myself 20 years ago? Thank goodness Jas, K & K were willing to pitch in! (Jas was also kind enough to point out that the reduced volume in my crimped hair {notice the pink conair crimper circa 1980's} made my face look thinner).
1984--reborn!The hat, the shirt and the jacket are all VINTAGE!! They are what I actually wore to the Jackson Victory Tour Concert in LA when I was 10!

Totally 80's, we ROCK! Friends--Sharlie, Kim and Rock N Roll Glen!

Unreal. People wear this stuff still? or again I guess...Kim's daughter actually wants to wear her leggins--weird. But man it was fun to dress up and go trick or treating--thanks Kim for sharing your "bag boy" for the night! (Z's costume was one of a kind...I don't have a good pic but if I can get one I will post it. He was in a burlap costume that was one of a kind).

Found the good picture...awesome isn't it?

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! K & K dressed up for a dance at Dixie State last night--they looked terrific! They did an awesome job of just coming up with great costumes on the fly..a gangsta and her gal friday they looked terrific....more Halloween pics to come later...be prepared to flashback to 1983, some of my clothes are actually from then : )

I LOVE HALLOWEEN!
ORANGE ORANGE all around, on my shirts and on the ground
I fit in this time of year, cuz I love ORANGE, so my dear
Won't you spread the Halloween cheer and maybe have an Orange beer.

I love my husband. He is a wonderful human being. When I have a bad day he tells me how cute I am. He cooks me dinner. He forgives my bitchiness. He loves me inspite of my many highly annoying habits. He thinks I am beautiful. He makes me think I am beautiful too.
I thought I lost this post when our computer froze the other day, but there it was in the drafts...so now you all can see it too!

We are expecting a new nephew in the next few weeks. I went to the baby shower today and it was really fun, baby clothes and toys are so adorable! His name is going to be Jaxton Jason, after his uncle Jas! Cute huh? Can't wait to meet him! 4 kids seems to be the magic number in our families--both of my brothers have 4 kids and now both of Jason's siblings will have 4 too. We love being aunt/uncle! We love K. T. G. F.; K. N. D.; B. K. K. P.; and K. A. T. K. I never noticed how many of the kids names start with K, hmmm.

We live in a world of miracles...if only we can have eyes to see and hearts to feel. We have friends who recently were in a horrible accident and yet everyone is going to be ok. Tough times ahead but eventually this too shall pass. I am eversograteful they are all alive and doing better every day.

More New Happenings in brief

So last time I tried to be brief about some of the new news in our lives. This time I might actually achieve brief (I'll try, really).

In September we got new room mates. This time it is girls. We've had lots of people stay with us, and we have loved them all. But oddly they have all been boys (or men if you prefer that terminology). Now we have our niece the Bean and her friend K. Marie. (I'm trying out the "no actual names" deal, we'll see how long it works)... they are 18 and going to Dixie State. This is one of the walls in their room...it is bright pink with the zebra print theme...I actually LOVE it! and I love having girls around. I have never in my life (except for a brief time in high school in West Jordan-love those aunts and cousins) lived with more estrogen than testosterone...I didn't know any different. It is kind of nice. I actually like girls. Love boys too, don't anyone take this personally, but I could get used to having more girls around than boys. I know our girls would agree I am a far cry from a "mother figure" but I think maybe I could actually take care of girls...who'd have thunk it? They do laundry, they cook, they smell nice, they like to talk about stuff....I really like them and I think they like me too! (Weird) Plus they are letting Herc sleep in their room to "protect" them. True Love, right there.

So this is the bean and Jas, boxing it out at our cousin's birthday party at the bounce party place in Vegas--the cousins invite us every time--I LOVE THAT!! (though I did learn this time that there does come a time when you are too old to play on the bouncy toys...my knee did a freak thing in the obstacle course, thankfully it felt worse when it happened than afterward...)

This is the bean and her uncle Jas. She is taller than him (and maybe more mature?), but she is still the bean. We love her.

And certainly no small event B & K got married!

Darling family. The baby had his very own suit, so adorable. It was a great day! We felt priviledged to participate!

These are my dad's two GREAT Grandbabies! That is right, he is a GREAT GRANDPA times 2

They are adorable and so are the grandkids in the background!
Unfortunately I got distracted when they took the 2 Five Generation pictures. R is the 5th generation for both sides of my family...Grandma Jean and Grandma Joy, miraculous.

Can't leave out my baby. Here is Herc's Halloween costume, thanks to the girls he is now BOLT! (see the lightning bolt on his butt?)
I love him, could you tell?
