Our 1 and Only Cruise!!!

Cute, super cute towel monkey, right?
Even cuter, much cuter, towel plus boot Elephant!

OK, Eskimo, ok, I can see what it is, talented origami with the towels. Got it.

WTH? What is this? I guessed Aardvark. Others said Ant Eater. I finally asked our guy, he said Dinosaur. Jas and I got the Dinosaur and the Eskimo. Everyone else got monkeys, manta rays, bunnies, elephants, love swans, etc... super cute towel creatures. Our room must have been the one that was miserable to make up, so we were punished with weird towel creations, but how fun to have towel creations in our rooms each night!
To preface the rest of the post....Jas has always had sea sickness. Lake Powell=sick. Lake Mead=sick. Sand Hallow on a boat=sick. Jet skis are OK, they don't sit and float up and down, they just race around and return to shore! Everyone says "You can't even feel a cruise boat moving, they are so big", "Get the patch, he will be fine", "Try it, you'll like it"...So Darb asked us to go on a 3 day cruise. Jas said OK in a moment of weakness and I booked it before he could change his mind...so on 11/13 (Friday the 13th, good luck in my book, right?) We went on a 3 day cruise from San Diego to Ensenada....
There were 10 0f us, it was a great group, we love those cruise buddies!

Elation was the Carnival ship we were on, it was a great ship!

They had an "elegant" night...Doesn't Jas look super hot?!
and the girls were NOT TO BE MISSED~~

'Wit Woo'
(I made them do this--but isn't it great?!)
Picture of a cruise...look at that food, and yet, don't I look slim?
That is Chocolate Sushi in my hand, weird and tasted weird--skip it!
So end of the story. Tami had a riot, every minute (except the few moments of sea sickness the first night, and I have never been sea sick a day in my life!!!) and would love to do it again. Except for the part where Jason was sea sick, despite the behind the ear patch and meclyzine (or something like that, motion sickness pills) the WHOLE TIME!!! He could be upright for maybe an hour at a time and then had to go lay down. The only time he didn't feel like he was going to puke was when he was laying down (that is why I think our cabin was hardest to clean up, cuz Jas never left for very long, thus the ugly towel creatures). He was a great sport, and tried to enjoy himself, but he was pretty miserable and couldn't eat as much as he thought he should to even make it worth it....pretty tough to take. So I won't ever make him do it again. But it was quite an experience!
Love you Cruise Buddies! What happens on the boat stays on the boat : )
another small note: Our old Bishop's son, plus our friend, Matt was on the boat, he lives across the street from us and helps Jas work on the bus and borrows our cherry picker all the time...but still, same boat, same weekend? odd.
