Jas went all day without the moonboot today. He also lifted weights tonight and said he doesn't think he has lost much in his down time...I agree. He is lookin' good, as always.
I just want to say a few words about my Grandma Gerri in honor of her passing...
I remember spending Christmas Eve's at your house, the nativity and caroling...
I absolutely cherished the Holly Hobby doll and Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls (life size) that you made for me...I still have them. They are some of my most prized keepsakes. I was thinking I was saving them for my own daughter or granddaughter, but maybe grand niece or great grand niece will be the lucky recipient, your love lives on in these dolls, lovingly sewed, each stitch filled with your love!
I so appreciate the example you gave me of family surpassing past hurts and kids being more important than divorces...we are so lucky to have had the example you (an many others) set...
it never occurred to me that there was any difference between you and Grandpa George (there is a reunion I can't wait for too...) and Grandma Jean and Grandpa Earl...4 Grandparents were better than 2 any day.
I always enjoyed visiting with you when I could stop by to visit when I had meetings in Salt Lake the last several years, you were always so glad to see me and so loving and welcoming...plus you loved my Jas too and always asked about him. and you loved my mom so much and were always accepting of the men who love her too--my dad, Robert, Larry...
I'll miss you here Grandma. I love you. Thank you for loving me.

What a touching tribute to your Grandma. It sounds like you were very blessed to have her in your life and very thankful for it also. I am sorry to hear of her passing. I was once told that you don't get over death by forgetting, but by remembering. Just as you have done.
