Trying to grow a garden. So far the
tomato plant and a pepper plant are hanging in there, but just barely...gardening is not so easy!

Landscaping is not so easy either. We rented a tiller Saturday morning.
Jas tilled all day Saturday, until the tiller died (
Jas says he didn't kill it, but it will not start none the less...). We realized when the kidney stone symptoms started that maybe vibrating all day was not so smart for the boy with kidney stones! Not to mention that it hurt his hand, shoulder, and various other injured body parts.

We burned old grass, it is not nearly as
flammable as you would have thought...we raked, we raked, we raked, we burned and we will probably do it all again next weekend. But the one live tree does look pretty good!

We went to feed the ducks this evening and saw this adorable family of baby geese! Goslings, right? So sweet. Plus we saw turtles (definitely red eared sliders- they must have been dumped and figured out how to survive), and
koi fish and a baby duck too (older than the goslings, but still yellow and sweet!).

The last few weeks we have spent a lot of time with our
nieces and nephews. This was last Monday night.
Drewby loves Herc and Herc loves the kids!

Last Saturday we went to Zion and on the hike down from Emerald Pools we saw this cute little squirrel chowing down on his nuts, pine nuts, I think.

The day was beautiful! Blue sky, red rocks, green trees.

We had a wonderful day, hiking, playing, having fun!

There were waterfalls at Emerald Pools and at Weeping Rock. So beautiful!

This is at Weeping Rock. We all had a great time!
So an eventful couple of weeks. Plus I got to ride over 80 miles this week on top of it all! Can't beat Spring in St. George!
